Here we summarize the belt system that Renshin-Kai Karate follows as well as include instructions on how to properly tie your karate belt.

Black: 1 dan

Brown with black stripe: 1 kyu

Brown: 2 kyu

Green with brown stripe: 3 kyu

How to tie your belt
Wearing the Gi and belt is a tradition that has been handed down from generation to generation. It is important to tie your belt correctly and keep your Gi clean. Both must be worn with pride and respect.
